What you get

Everything in the free download works on its own, and you can use it on client work. It's also the base the paid Kit builds on, so nothing you learn here goes to waste.

• signoff-kit-router tells your agent which design skill to use for which job, and settles the places where popular design skills give opposite advice.
• site-from-brief-lite goes from a brief to a spec (DESIGN.md) to a static site, and its design lint blocks the palettes, fonts and contrast mistakes that make a site look like AI.
• signoff-copy-lite keeps the words human: writing rules, a banned-phrase list and a linter that catches filler and AI-style habits.
• signoff-photos fills photo slots with credited Unsplash photos.
• UPSTREAM-SKILLS.md links to the open-source design skills the router knows about. They aren't bundled, so you install the ones you want from their own repos.

How to install

Unzip it, then run the installer from inside the project folder you want it in:

/path/to/signoff-kit-free/install.sh

It installs for Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex at once, or pass --claude, --cursor, or --codex to pick one. The linters need Node 18 or later, and the installer needs bash and python3.
