SignOff Kit has no accounts, no database and no analytics. This page describes what happens to your information when you visit this site, buy the Kit, join the newsletter or use the Kit. Last updated 16 October 2026.
Visiting this site
The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel keeps standard request logs, such as your IP address, the page you asked for and your browser's user agent, under its own retention rules. We don't add analytics, tracking pixels or tracking cookies, and the photos and fonts on the page are served from this site, not from third-party image or font services.
Buying the Kit
Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for every sale. When you check out, you give your name, email address and payment details to Lemon Squeezy, not to us, and their checkout script and window load from their servers. They take the payment, handle tax and receipts, and issue your license key. We can see your order in their dashboard so we can help with support. Their own privacy policy covers what they collect and keep.
The newsletter
When you sign up, your email address goes to Buttondown, which we use to send our newsletter. Every issue has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you.
Using the Kit
The Kit doesn't send usage data anywhere. It connects to the internet only when you run something that needs it. When you activate or check your license, it sends your license key to Lemon Squeezy's license service and keeps the key in a file on your own computer. When you ask it to find photos or a video loop, it sends the search words through our photo and video proxies, which pass them to Unsplash or Pixabay. The proxies keep a short-lived count of requests per IP address to stop abuse, held in memory for about an hour, and don't log or store your IP address or your searches.
What we keep
Apart from what Lemon Squeezy and Buttondown hold for us, and any emails you send us, we don't keep a copy of your details. We never sell or share them with anyone else.
